Men's Brazilian Laser Hair Removal Vancouver: Cost & What's Included
Looking for information about Men's Brazilian Laser Hair Removal Vancouver services? You may have questions that go well beyond price. What exactly is included? Is the scrotum treated? What about the perianal area and between the buttocks? Do you need to shave? How does an intimate laser appointment actually work?
Iris Beauty Solution has been serving Vancouver clients for more than 15 years.
This guide explains what's included, how Vancouver pricing can differ, how to prepare, what treatment feels like, privacy, aftercare and what to expect from a series of laser hair removal treatments.
What Is Men's Brazilian Laser Hair Removal?
Men's Brazilian laser hair removal is a laser treatment for reducing unwanted hair in the male intimate area.
You may also see it called male Brazilian laser hair removal, Manzilian laser hair removal or men's intimate laser hair removal. These terms are often used interchangeably, but the exact treatment area is not standardized between providers.
What Is Included in Men's Brazilian Laser Hair Removal at Iris?
At Iris Beauty Solution, Men's Brazilian laser hair removal includes:
Pubic area — the hair-bearing area at the front.
Scrotum — included as part of the treatment.
Perianal area — the external area surrounding the anus.
Buttocks crease / gluteal cleft — the area between the buttocks.
Full buttocks are a separate laser hair removal area.
These areas are included in the Men's Brazilian treatment rather than being charged as separate add-ons.

Does Men's Brazilian laser hair removal include the scrotum?
Yes. At Iris Beauty Solution, the scrotum is included.
Does it include the perianal area and between the buttocks?
Yes. The perianal area and the central buttocks crease between the buttocks are included.
Men's Brazilian Laser Hair Removal Vancouver: Cost & Pricing
Published prices for Men's Brazilian and Manzilian laser hair removal vary substantially across Vancouver and the surrounding area. The advertised number is only useful if you also know what the treatment includes.
Pricing may differ because of:
the areas included;
whether some areas are charged separately;
differences in Brazilian, Full Brazilian and Manzilian terminology;
the technology and device being used;
package versus single-session pricing.
From October 1, 2026, the price is $140 per session — 30% OFF the regular $200 price.

What Type of Laser Does Iris Beauty Solution Use?
Men's Brazilian treatments at Iris Beauty Solution are performed with the Cynosure Vectus diode laser.
Diode laser hair removal and IPL are not the same technology. IPL uses a broad spectrum of light, while a diode laser uses laser light at a more specific wavelength.
This does not mean that one technology is automatically appropriate for every person. It does mean that two businesses advertising “hair removal” may be using different types of equipment.

Is Men's Brazilian Laser Hair Removal Awkward?
For the practitioner, Men's Brazilian laser hair removal is a professional treatment of a defined body area.
Your appointment takes place privately, and we discuss the treatment areas before beginning so you know what will be treated and what to expect.
You do not need to know the correct anatomical terminology or have an uncomfortable conversation simply to find out what is included. That is one reason we define the treatment areas clearly before you book.
What if I get an erection during treatment?
This is a question some men may have but feel uncomfortable asking.
In our experience, this has rarely been an issue. An involuntary physical response is not something you need to feel embarrassed about.
If it happens, the appointment remains professional and focused on the treatment.
Do I Need to Shave Before Men's Brazilian Laser Hair Removal?
Yes. The areas being treated should be shaved before your appointment.
Shaving about one day before treatment is generally preferable to shaving immediately before the appointment because minor razor irritation has some time to settle.
Do not wax, tweeze or pluck the hair before laser treatment. These methods remove hair from the follicle, while laser hair removal needs the follicular target to remain present.
How do I shave hard-to-reach areas?
A mirror can help, and longer hair can be carefully trimmed before shaving.
Take your time and do not repeatedly shave over sensitive skin or risk cutting yourself trying to achieve a perfect shave in an area that is difficult to reach.
If a small area cannot be safely prepared, tell us at your appointment rather than irritating or injuring the skin.
Arrive with the treatment area clean and free from lotions, oils or fragranced products. Recent tanning or significant sun exposure should also be discussed before treatment.
Does Men's Brazilian Laser Hair Removal Hurt?
Men's Brazilian laser hair removal is not completely sensation-free, and we do not describe it as painless.
Laser pulses can feel like brief heat, prickling or snapping sensations. Some areas are more sensitive than others, and individual tolerance varies.
The Cynosure Vectus has integrated contact cooling. At Iris Beauty Solution, we also use a cold pack for additional cooling during treatment, particularly on more sensitive areas.
The pace can be adjusted according to the area being treated and your comfort.
How Long Does a Men's Brazilian Appointment Take?
At Iris Beauty Solution, a Men's Brazilian appointment is booked for 30 minutes.
The laser itself is not being used continuously for 30 minutes. Your appointment also includes time to discuss any questions, confirm the treatment areas and prepare for the procedure.
The actual laser portion is generally much shorter and varies by individual.
How Many Sessions Will I Need?
One session is not enough for long-term hair reduction because hairs are not all in the same stage of their growth cycle at the same time.
Laser is most effective when a hair is in the appropriate active growth phase. Other follicles need to be treated at later appointments as they enter that stage.
Many clients require approximately 6–8 sessions, although the number varies with hair density, colour and thickness, skin characteristics, hormonal influences and individual response.
Laser hair removal is best understood as long-term hair reduction, rather than a guarantee that every hair will disappear permanently. Some clients also choose occasional maintenance treatments after completing their initial series.
What Happens After Your First Men's Brazilian Laser Treatment?
Treated hair does not disappear immediately.
Over the following days and weeks, affected hairs begin to shed. Some may initially appear to be growing when they are actually moving toward the surface before shedding.
Temporary redness, warmth or sensitivity can occur after treatment.
You will also continue to see other hairs because not every follicle was in the same growth phase during your first appointment. This is why the next session is scheduled after an appropriate interval rather than immediately.
Can Laser Hair Removal Help With Ingrown Hairs and Shaving Irritation?
Frequent shaving of coarse pubic hair can contribute to razor irritation, follicular bumps and ingrown hairs. Repeated inflammation may also leave areas of uneven or post-inflammatory pigmentation.
By reducing the amount and density of hair that needs to be repeatedly shaved, laser hair removal can reduce one of the recurring triggers for shaving-related irritation and ingrown hairs.
It does not guarantee that every ingrown hair, bump or area of pigmentation will disappear. Existing pigmentation or persistent skin changes may require separate assessment and treatment.

Repeated shaving can contribute to irritation, follicular bumps and uneven pigmentation in the pubic area.
Men's Brazilian Laser Hair Removal Aftercare
For the first day or two after treatment, minimize unnecessary heat, friction and irritation. Wear comfortable clothing and avoid rubbing or aggressively exfoliating the treated skin while it remains sensitive.
When can I exercise after Men's Brazilian laser hair removal?
Avoid strenuous exercise for approximately 24–48 hours, particularly if the skin is still warm, red or sensitive.
Exercise increases heat and sweating, while activities such as cycling or running and tight gym clothing can add friction to the treated area.
Resume more intense exercise once the skin has settled.
When can I have sex after Men's Brazilian laser hair removal?
A practical recommendation is to wait approximately 24–48 hours and until the treated skin feels normal.
Sexual activity creates heat, sweat and friction over freshly treated skin. If the area remains red, warm or sensitive, allow more time.
What about hot baths and saunas?
Avoid excessive heat, including hot baths, hot tubs, steam rooms and saunas, during the initial post-treatment period.
A lukewarm shower is preferable while the area remains sensitive.
Can I shave after treatment?
Do not shave skin that is still irritated.
Once the skin feels normal, shaving can be used between laser sessions if needed. Do not wax, tweeze or pluck between treatments.
What Should I Compare When Choosing a Vancouver Clinic?
Before booking Men's Brazilian laser hair removal, compare more than the advertised price. Check:
exactly which anatomical areas are included;
whether any areas cost extra;
whether the treatment uses laser or IPL;
which device is being used;
whether the treatment is appropriate for your skin and hair characteristics;
what preparation and aftercare instructions are provided;
how privacy is handled during intimate treatments;
and what the regular price is outside a current promotion.
